    Refund Policy

    At QuickEstimate, we stand behind our product. This policy describes when and how you may request a refund, what qualifies for a refund, and how we process your request. Please read this carefully before making a purchase.

    14-Day Money-Back Guarantee All new paid subscriptions are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked. If QuickEstimate isn't the right fit, just let us know within 14 days of your first payment.

    Money-Back Guarantee

    We want you to feel confident choosing QuickEstimate. That's why every new paid subscription comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, starting from the date of your first successful payment.

    If you are not satisfied with QuickEstimate for any reason during the first 14 days, contact our billing team and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked, no hoops to jump through.

    ✅ 14-Day Guarantee covers: All new monthly and annual subscriptions on any paid plan (Starter, Pro, Business). The guarantee applies to first-time subscribers only. It does not apply to renewals or plan upgrades after an existing subscription has been active for more than 14 days.

    Trial Users

    QuickEstimate offers a free trial period before requiring any payment. Because you can evaluate the product fully before paying, the 14-day money-back guarantee begins at the point your first payment is charged — not at the start of your free trial.

    We strongly encourage you to explore all features during your free trial. If you have questions before subscribing, contact our team — we're happy to extend your trial if needed.

    Subscription Cancellations

    You may cancel your QuickEstimate subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing immediately.

    What happens when you cancel

    • Monthly plans: Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation. No partial refund is issued for the unused days in the current month.
    • Annual plans: Your subscription remains active until the end of the annual billing period. If you cancel within the 14-day guarantee window, a full refund is issued. Cancellations after 14 days are not eligible for a refund of the remaining term, unless otherwise determined at our discretion.
    ⚠️ Data after cancellation: Your estimate data is retained for 90 days after cancellation for backup purposes. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted. You may export your data at any time before cancellation.

    How to cancel

    To cancel your subscription, go to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription in your QuickEstimate dashboard, or email support@quickestimate.io. We will confirm your cancellation via email.

    Refund Eligibility

    The table below summarises what is and is not eligible for a refund under our standard policy:

    📌 Note: Refund eligibility is always assessed on a good-faith basis. If you believe your situation is exceptional, please contact us — we review every request individually and strive to be fair.

    Non-Refundable Situations

    The following situations are generally not eligible for a refund under our standard policy:

    • Change of mind after 14 days — Once the money-back guarantee period has passed, subscription charges are non-refundable.
    • Forgetting to cancel — You are responsible for managing your subscription. We send renewal reminder emails before each billing date.
    • Partial month usage — We do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial months on monthly plans.
    • Violation of Terms of Service — If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.
    • Third-party fees — Any fees charged by third-party services, app stores, or resellers are not refundable through QuickEstimate.
    • Features not used — We do not issue refunds because a feature was available but not used during the subscription period.
    ⚠️ Renewal reminder: We send an email notification at least 7 days before any annual renewal charge. For monthly plans, you receive a reminder at least 3 days before renewal. Please ensure your email address on file is current.

    How to Request a Refund

    Requesting a refund is straightforward. Follow these steps:

    1. Email our billing team at support@quickestimate.io with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Account Email]".
    2. Include the following in your email: your registered email address, the date of the charge, the amount charged, and a brief reason for the request (optional but helpful).
    3. We'll confirm receipt within 1 business day and let you know if your request is approved, along with the expected refund timeline.
    4. Your refund is processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
    💬 Alternative: You can also initiate a refund request directly from your QuickEstimate dashboard under Account Settings → Billing → Request Refund, or by using the in-app chat support available 24/7.

    Refund Processing

    All payments on QuickEstimate are securely processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

    Processing timelines

    • Credit / Debit cards: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement (timing depends on your card issuer).
    • Bank debits (ACH): Up to 10 business days.
    • PayPal (where available): 3–5 business days.
    📌 Important: Once we initiate a refund with Stripe, it is outside our direct control how quickly your bank processes it. If a refund does not appear after 10 business days, please first check with your bank before contacting us. We will always provide a Stripe refund ID for your reference.

    Currency & exchange rates

    Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge. QuickEstimate is not responsible for any differences in refunded amounts resulting from currency conversion or exchange rate fluctuations applied by your bank or card issuer.

    Partial Refunds

    In certain circumstances, QuickEstimate may issue a partial refund at our discretion. Scenarios that may qualify include:

    • A documented technical failure that prevented you from using the service for a significant portion of your billing period.
    • A billing error that resulted in an overcharge.
    • Exceptional circumstances reviewed and approved by our billing team.

    Partial refunds will be calculated based on the unused portion of the subscription term and communicated clearly before processing.

    Failed Payments & Chargebacks

    Failed payments

    If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the charge. We will notify you by email if a payment is unsuccessful. Your account will be placed on a brief grace period; if payment is not resolved within that period, your account may be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.

    Chargebacks

    We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably through our support team. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension and potential recovery of disputed funds through legal channels.

    ⚠️ Please note: Filing a chargeback for a charge that falls outside our refund policy, or without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, may result in permanent account termination and may affect your ability to create a new account.

    Plan Changes & Upgrades

    Upgrading your plan

    When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the new plan's rate. Upgrade charges are non-refundable.

    Downgrading your plan

    You can downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle — you retain access to your current plan's features until then. No refund is issued for the difference between plans in the current period.

    Switching from monthly to annual

    If you switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan, you will be charged the annual rate immediately and your monthly billing will stop. Any remaining days on your monthly plan will be credited toward your annual subscription.

    Changes to This Policy

    QuickEstimate reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by:

    • Sending an email to the address associated with your account.
    • Posting a notice on the QuickEstimate website or within the application.
    • Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

    Continued use of QuickEstimate after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel your subscription and, if within the eligibility window, request a refund.
