Your Plan, Your Way — Change It Whenever You Need
As your business grows, your QuickEstimate plan should grow with it. Whether you're ready to unlock more features, scaling back during a quiet period, or switching between monthly and annual billing, managing your subscription is straightforward and takes less than a minute.
This guide walks you through everything — viewing your current plan, understanding what's in each tier, upgrading or downgrading, and how billing is handled when you make a change mid-cycle.
How to Manage Your Subscription
Follow the steps below to view, change, or switch your QuickEstimate plan from within your account settings.
Go to Your Subscription Settings
All subscription management options live in one place — your Account Settings. Here's how to get there.
- Log in to your QuickEstimate account
- Click your profile icon or name in the top-right corner
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu
- Navigate to the Subscription tab in the left-hand sidebar
Review Your Current Plan and What's Included
Before making any changes, it's worth reviewing what your current plan includes and how it compares to other tiers.
- Your active plan is highlighted at the top of the Subscription page
- A side-by-side comparison of all plans is shown below — including estimate limits, team seats, and feature access
- Features only available on higher tiers are marked clearly so you know exactly what you'd unlock
- Both monthly and annual pricing is displayed — annual billing saves you up to 20%

Upgrade Your Plan
Upgrading gives you instant access to additional features, higher estimate limits, and more team seats — effective immediately.
- Click Upgrade next to the plan you'd like to move to
- Review the plan summary and confirm your billing details
- Click Confirm Upgrade — your new plan activates instantly
- You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- From your next billing date, the full new plan price applies
Proration is calculated automatically. For example, if you're halfway through a monthly cycle and upgrade, you'll only be charged for the remaining half of the month at the new plan rate.
Downgrade Your Plan
If you need to scale back, you can downgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Click Downgrade next to the plan you'd like to switch to
- Review any features or limits you'll lose access to — these are listed clearly before you confirm
- Click Confirm Downgrade to schedule the change
- Your current plan and features remain active until the end of your billing cycle
- On your next billing date, the lower plan takes effect and you're charged the new rate
You won't be charged a penalty for downgrading. You simply won't receive a refund for unused time on your current plan — your access continues until the end of the paid period.
Switch Between Monthly and Annual Billing
You can switch from monthly to annual billing (or vice versa) at any time. Annual billing is billed as a single upfront payment and saves you up to 20%.
- On the Subscription page, toggle between Monthly and Annual at the top of the plan comparison
- Select your preferred plan under the billing cycle you want
- Switching to annual mid-cycle charges a prorated amount for the annual term, minus what you've already paid
- Switching from annual to monthly takes effect when your current annual term expires — no refunds are issued for unused months
What Happens to Your Data When You Change Plans?
Your data is always safe regardless of plan changes. Here's what to expect:
- Upgrading: all existing data is preserved and new limits apply immediately
- Downgrading: all data is preserved; you simply lose access to premium features at the end of the billing cycle
- If you exceed the limits of a downgraded plan, existing data remains intact — you just can't create new items beyond the limit until you reduce usage or upgrade again
- Switching billing cycles: no impact on data whatsoever
We will never delete your estimates, clients, or proposals as a result of a plan change.
Tips for Choosing the Right Plan
Not sure which plan fits your business best? Here are a few things to consider when deciding.
Check Your Monthly Estimate Volume
Look at how many estimates you're creating each month. If you're regularly hitting your plan's limit, it's a good sign you'd benefit from upgrading.
Factor in Team Size
Each plan includes a set number of team seats. If you're bringing on staff or subcontractors who need access, make sure your plan covers enough seats.
Go Annual If You're Staying Long-Term
If QuickEstimate is already part of your daily workflow, switching to annual billing saves you around two months of cost over the year.
You Can Always Change Your Mind
There's no lock-in. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing cycles at any time — so start on a lower plan and scale up as you grow.
Try Features Before Committing
Some higher-tier features are available on a free trial basis. Look for "Try free for 14 days" labels on the plan comparison page before upgrading.

Yes. When you upgrade, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the new plan rate. From your next billing date, the full new plan price applies as normal.
QuickEstimate does not offer refunds for unused time on your current plan when downgrading. However, your access continues until the end of the paid period. If you believe you've been charged in error, please contact our support team and we'll review it promptly.
If you reach your monthly estimate limit, you'll be notified and prompted to upgrade. You won't lose access to existing estimates — you'll simply be unable to create new ones until your limit resets at the start of your next billing cycle or you move to a higher plan.
Each QuickEstimate account operates on a single subscription. If you manage multiple businesses and need separate accounts, each account requires its own subscription. Contact our team to discuss multi-account pricing options.
