"Incorrect email or password" error

This error means either the email address or password doesn't match what's on file. Before resetting your password, try these first:

  • Check you're using the email address you signed up with — try any aliases or work emails you may have used
  • Make sure Caps Lock is off — passwords are case-sensitive
  • Try typing your password in a text field first to confirm it looks right, then paste it in
  • Clear your browser's autofill for this site and re-enter manually
📧 Password reset email not arriving

If you've clicked "Forgot Password" but haven't received the reset email within 2–3 minutes:

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder for an email from QuickEstimate
  • Check your Promotions or Other tabs if using Gmail
  • Confirm you entered the correct email address on the reset screen
  • Wait 5 minutes and try again — delivery can occasionally be delayed by mail servers
  • Try a different browser or disable VPNs temporarily if corporate filters are active

If the email still doesn't arrive after 10 minutes, contact our support team with your account email address and we'll manually trigger a reset.

Account locked after multiple failed attempts

For security, QuickEstimate blocks sign-in after 5 failed attempts. The block lasts 15 minutes and lifts automatically.

  • Wait 15 minutes and try again with the correct password
  • Use "Forgot Password" to reset if you're unsure of your password
  • If you believe someone is attempting to access your account, contact support immediately to secure it
Regaining access to your account
  • Your paid plan lapsed: sign in as usual. You'll be taken to the subscription page, where you can choose a plan and carry on. Your estimates and clients are still there
  • You're a team member and can't sign in: an admin may have deactivated your account. Ask them to click Reactivate next to your name under Users
  • You signed up with Google: use the Google sign-in option on the sign-in page instead of a password
