A Polite Nudge, Sent for You
Clients get busy and proposals get buried. Automatic reminders send a short, friendly email with a link back to the proposal, so you don't have to remember to chase every one yourself. Reminders are off until you turn them on.
How to Turn Reminders On
Open the Reminder Settings
- Open Management → Business Settings
- Go to the Pricing & Tax step
- Scroll to Proposal Lifecycle Settings
Switch Reminders On and Choose When They're Sent
- Tick Send automatic reminders to clients

- Click Save Progress
What Your Client Receives
- A short email saying the proposal is still awaiting their response, with the expiry date if there is one
- A View the proposal button that opens the same proposal you sent them
- It comes from QuickEstimate with your company name, and replies go to your company email
How Reminders Behave
- Only proposals you sent by email get reminders, to the address you sent them to
- Reminders stop once a proposal is Accepted, Rejected, Cancelled, Expired or Archived
- At most one reminder every 2 days per proposal, and each reminder is sent only once
- Turning reminders on doesn't send a burst of old reminders. Only reminders due in the last couple of days go out
- Reminders are sent once a day
