Know Where Every Proposal Stands
Every proposal has a status that updates as you and your client act on it.
You can see it on the Estimates list, on the proposal itself, and in the Lifecycle Report.
What Each Status Means
Draft and Ready
Draft: saved but not sent yet. Ready: you marked it ready to send, using Mark Ready in the three-dot menu on the Estimates list.
Sent and Viewed
Sent: you emailed it with Send Proposal. Viewed: the client has opened it. While a proposal is waiting on the client, the Estimates list shows "(Nd left)" when 7 days or fewer remain.
Accepted
The client (or you, with Accept Now) approved and signed. The price is locked.
Rejected, Expired and Cancelled
Rejected: the client clicked Reject. Expired: the valid-until date passed. Cancelled: you cancelled it, so the client can no longer sign.
Archived
Hidden from day-to-day work but kept for your records.
Where to See Status
Estimates list
Go to Estimates in the top menu. Each row has a colour-coded status badge. Use the status filter (All Status, Draft, Ready, Sent and so on) to show one group.
The proposal page
Click the eye icon on a row to open the proposal. The bar at the top shows the status and the valid-until date.
History
On the proposal page, click History to see each event (for example Ready, Sent, Viewed) with the date, time and who did it.
Lifecycle Report
On the Estimates page, click Lifecycle Report. Filter by status, salesperson or industry to see estimate number, customer, value, status, valid-until date and invoice status. Use Export CSV on the Estimates page to download your list.
Frequently Asked Questions
