    Terms & Conditions

Adding Terms and Conditions to Proposals

Set the licence notice, agreement text, payment terms and warranty your clients see and sign.

    Why Terms and Conditions Matter

Clear terms set expectations about payment, scope and warranty before work starts.

In QuickEstimate you write them once in Business Settings and they appear on every proposal and PDF.

    Setting Up Your Terms

    1

    Open Business Settings

Click Management in the top menu, then Business Settings.

    2

    Fill in the Legal step

Open step 6, Legal. It has three boxes:

    • License Notice / Licensing Statement: your licence or registration statement.
    • Company Agreement Text: the agreement your client accepts when they sign.
    • Investment & Payment Terms: deposits, payment schedule and accepted payment methods.
    3

    Set your warranty

Open step 5, Guarantee, to set the guarantee or warranty for each package.

    4

    Check the section headings

In step 3, Labels & Templates, the PDF / Print Titles area lets you rename headings such as Agreement, Investment and Guarantee.

    5

    Save

Click Save Progress. Your terms appear on proposals you open or send from now on.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use different terms for one proposal?

Terms come from Business Settings and apply to all proposals. For job-specific conditions, use the Notes field in the estimate builder.

Are my terms shown on the PDF?

Yes. The licence, warranty and terms sections appear on both the online proposal and the PDF.

Should a lawyer review my terms?

Yes. QuickEstimate shows the text you enter; it does not provide legal wording or advice.

Add your terms once and every proposal carries them.
