Three Ways to Reuse Your Work

Duplicate a Past Proposal
- Click Estimates in the top bar
- Find a similar past job, open More actions on its row and choose Duplicate Proposal
- Open the copy, change the client and anything specific to the new job, and check the prices
Quoted a bathroom remodel last month? Duplicate it, update the client and measurements, and most of the estimate is already done.

Use Group Materials
- Under Management → Group Materials, save bundles of materials you use together
- On an estimate's Materials & Labor step, add the whole group at once

Insert Saved Descriptions
- Save standard scope-of-work text under Management → Descriptions
- On the Description step, click Add Pre-Saved Description
Tips
Keep Reused Estimates Accurate
- Check prices on a duplicated estimate. It keeps the line items from the original, so update anything that has changed
- Update your price lists first, so groups and new items use current costs
- Give duplicated proposals a clear new name so they're easy to find
Frequently Asked Questions
Does duplicating change the original proposal?
No. Duplicate Proposal creates a separate copy; the original is untouched.
Can I save an estimate as a template?
Not as a separate template yet. Duplicating a past proposal does the same job.
Can my team use the same groups and descriptions?
Yes. Group Materials and Descriptions belong to your company account.
